Once again, our volunteer Reserve Deputy Sheriff's and Search/Rescue Technicians come to the rescue of accident victims. True heroes in our community!
At approximately 3 am Sunday morning, members of our Malibu Search and Rescue assisted Los Angeles County Fire Department with a vehicle over the side on Stunt Road approximately one mile from Mulholland Highway.
The vehicle, a Scion, had two patients from Winnetka, a 19 y/o male and 15 y/o female, both of whom suffered significant injuries.
The male was airlifted by #lacofireairops while the female was raised to an awaiting ambulance using our winch system.
