Believe it or not, Drive-In Theatres still exist! If you were under the impression that there were no more drive-in theatres operating, Paramount Drive-In Theatre is in fact open. The theatre is located in the city of Paramount, it first opened in 1947 and it was called Roadium Drive-In. The drive-in theatre closed in 1992 but after a 22 year intermission, the theatre reopened on April of 2014.

The Lakewood Sheriff's Station patrols the neighborhoods of #Lakewood#Paramount,#Artesia#Bellflower#HawaiianGardens, Unincorporated area of #Cerritos and #LongBeach. The station opened in 1959 in the Lakewood Civic Center and it was the first city in the nation to provide day and night helicopter patrols through the city’s Sky Knight Program which started in 1966. With so many cities and unincorporated areas to patrol, Lakewood Sheriff’s Station deputies do an outstanding job in keeping the public safe.
So gather the family, bring a date or come along with friends in your classic or new car and pay a visit to the Paramount Drive-In Theatre. Remember if you see one of our deputies, don’t forget to say, “Hello.”

While out and about and as part of our daily duties, Sheriff's deputies routinely patrol roughly 4,750 square miles of LA County. Anywhere in particular you want to see us visit? Know of any interesting and notable landmarks, buildings, or locations within the LA County limits you would like to see our bear travel to? One of the perks of working in law enforcement is getting to know the residents we serve, and businesses we protect- so give us your suggestions and we will snap a photo while we are there!
