Stop Hate And Respect Everyone

Stop Hate And Respect Everyone

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, The Simon Wiesenthal Center, Museum of Tolerance and other public and private organizations, was proud to announce the Stop Hate And Respect Everyone program in 2008.
The program was meant to focus on the youth as they leave the grade school campuses and enter high school. They sometimes become involved in various cliques which may practice very negative views such as hate and intolerance

This program provides resources designed to educate, inform and empower those we serve, and it furnishes essential tools needed to combat hatred and intolerance, wherever it occurs.

The goals of the SHARE program, relies on a multi-faceted approach to eliminating Crimes of Hate. The program incorporates innovative methods to facilitate communication and understanding. A powerful audio/visual experience will be designed to illuminate audiences and prompt informed discussion.
Look for SHARE program deputies throughout the year to appear at community events and junior high and elementary schools.
